Once we have received your instructions, we will keep you informed on the progress of your matter on a regular basis.

As appropriate to the type of matter, we will regularly inform you of the progress, either in writing or by a telephone call or email from us.

Also, as the need arises, we will forward copies of relevant correspondence and documents to you.

THE COST OF THE SERVICE

The majority of our services, including Conveyancing & Probate & Estate matters, are charged at a fixed professional fee inclusive of GST and Disbursements.

Other time costed matters are charged on an hourly basis. In all matters, you will be given an accurate quote for your matter and you will be updated throughout your matter should our estimate of costs vary.

Out-of-Pocket Expenses  We require these to be paid in advance in all matters.

Fees on Account and Payment of Fees  Payment will be required from time-to-time, as discussed, for commercial matters and court cases. On other matters the fees are payable at the completion of the matter. If outstanding fees and out-of-pocket expenses are billed we would require these to be paid within 14 days of billing.

We understand that people are very busy and time poor, as such, we also offer a mobile service and are able to visit you at a time and location convenient to you. This service is also available outside traditional office hours.

What is conveyancing?

Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring the ownership of a property from one person to another. When either buying or selling a home, a unit, a commercial property or vacant land you are required by law to sign a contract for sale of that property. The legal work involved in preparing the sales contract, mortgage and other related documents, is called conveyancing.
